A new addition to my collection, I am excited to show off this vintage lace and net bustle.
I have made a waistband, from my own pattern using dusky pink satin.
The soft netting is added, then I have freely stitched lace scraps and trims all over, in an organic way, to build up the layers. The bustle is beautifully stitched. The inside is neatly finished, having a lovely quilted effect from all the stitch work. The lace scraps were given to me by a fashion house, my previous employer and would otherwise be in landfil!

Waistband measures approximately 30 inches and has a drawstring ribbon to pull in as you wish.
