Sheep Pendant
Description
Sheep Pendant in soft pastel shades.
This little felt landscape is made using wet felting and needle felting techniques. I use pure merino wool and silk fibres for the sky and clouds and mixed merino fibres for the foreground. A little bit of machine stitch adds detail and the sheep are needle felted on by hand.
The landscape is then mounted in a silver tone bezel measuring 3.3 x 3.3cm and comes with the silver plated snake chain shown in the last photo. Chain measures 16 inches long and 2mm thick. An extension chain is included which makes the chain wearable up to 18 inches long.
Comes gift wrapped in box shown.

Inspiration
Much of my work is inspired by the remote areas of Scotland and Ireland where fluffy sheep can be seen grazing peacefully amongst beautiful scenery. As my felt landscape pictures have grown in popularity, my making them in miniature wearable pieces developed naturally.
