CUTE & SHABBY CHIC SCOTTIE DOG CUSHION

I love Scottie Dogs (all dogs in fact!) and decided to make a cushion featuring one of these little cuties :)

Using pure cotton fabrics, I have appliqued a pretty Scottie Dog made from Pink Rose Cotton onto Laura Ashley Pink Gingham Check.

The Scottie has a hand finished pink ribbon collar with a repurposed woollen button.

The reverse of the cushion has an envelope opening and is made from soft Cream Calico fabric with a subtle stripe.

I have overcast the inner seams for a neat finish and to prevent fraying.

The cushion cover measures approximately 17/43cm square and includes a polyester cushion pad.

Hand washing is recommended due to the applique and hand sewn detail.

Handmade by myself in my cosy sewing room in the Cotswolds Hills.
