Sweet bird necklace with handpainted and decorated pendant. I painted the metal filigree setting in pastel pink and then applied a vintage style bird print decoupage (sealed and glazed). The loose vintage Austrian rhinestones were carefully placed inside the setting and are green, blue and pink crystal.
I then added clay flowers around the frame, with rhinestones at their center. I created the flowers from scratch using a homemade, non-commerical mould. They are painted bright blue and yellow metallic and compliment the other colours beautifully.
Two vintage rhinestone chain strips were glued around the frame and add a sparkling touch of glamour to this fun design. Last but not least, a dangling purple tulip with pearly bead was added to the bottom of the pendant.
I created a double chain for this design, made of pink aluminium and linked brass with tiny pink faceted drops. This necklace is bright and colourful and will be the perfect accessory for those who appreciate a pop of colour in their lives!
