BEAUJOLAIS: A KNIT-AND-FELT BAG / PURSE PATTERN

Worked in the round and in one piece – no seams and no sewing! Uses super-bulky 100% wool yarn for a super-quick make.

Makes a roomy bag with a shaped flap that fastens with one large button to front. The sturdy handle is a versatile length - either throw the bag over your shoulder or swing it by hand.

The bag in the photo was crafted on 10mm / US15 needles with approximately 350g (350 metres/380 yards) Twilleys Freedom 100% wool yarn, colour 412, but any super-bulky yarn will do.

Approx. finished measurements (based on yarn used and bearing in mind that felting is not an exact science):

Height: 10” / 25.5cm

Width: 8.5” / 22cm

Depth: 5” / 13cm at base, tapering to 1.5” / 4cm at top.

Handle width: 2” / 5cm

Handle length: 26” / 66cm.
