Black & Gold, hand knitted & crocheted handbag with a long crocheted shoulder strap, short flap over top & vintage black & goldtone glass button closure.

This is a handmade handbag, with two differing coloured yarns, black 100% Acrylic yarn a lovely soft golden yarn, with metalic shiny golden filaments. The main body of the handbag has been knitted with both yarns together, which forms a mottled effect & then separately to give a striped effect of differing widths.

The long shoudler strap has been crocheted in the black yarn & then edged in the golden yarn & secured to the crocheted side panels of the handbag. Long enough to be worn across the body & sit gently against the hip.

The handbag has been further fully lined with off white 100% cotton to make this handbag more durable. The lining has been edged in golden thread to fit with the overal theme of the handbag.

This is a unique handmade item, fully hand knitted, crocheted & hand stitched by myself, to my own unique design.

This handbag can be hand or machine washed at 30'C, but I would suggest drying flat to retain its shape.

The handbag is roughly square in shape, measuring approx 20cms in height, excluding the handle & approx 23cms in width at its widest point, the flap over top is slightly wider at the bottom edge. The crocheted side panels give a little additional depth when required of approx 4cms.
