This is a stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique. It is entirely hand crafted, unique and very special.
This is one of my range of 4 designs of smaller, 8cm, Love Heart suncatchers.
This is Heart 03 which is named Heartbead as it has a pretty little bead in the shape of a heart in the centre. The heart is made from 3 shades and textures of red glass and sparkles in the light.
It is 8cm high and hangs from a silvery chain which is securely attached to the top of the heart.
It looks lovely hanging in the window where the different textures and colours of glass give it movement and sparkle as it catches the light.
This item is absolutely unique. I never make two pieces exactly the same, I always use slightly different colours and textures of glass. This will make a wonderful present, at any time, as a special gift for someone you love.
