What's this? A real snail has found his way into The Snail Emporium! The other Snails think that he looks rather strange, but they're willing to give him the benefit of the doubt and have made him feel very welcome!

Based on the garden snail, or Cornu aspersa (also known as Helix aspersa), this sculpture would make a stunning addition to your garden. Made from polymer clay and finished with varnish, he will sit outside quite happily, although doesn't like to be subjected to prolonged wet weather.

This snail sculpture has been made from tinted translucent clay which gives it a very realistic appearance. The antennae have been strengthened with wire armature. The shell has been made using a millefiori technique and has been finished with two coats of gloss varnish. The body has been finished with satin varnish.

The snail measures 8cm (3.1 inches) long and 5cm (2 inches) to the top of the antennae.

This sculpture is signed with an artist's mark - a slice of my unique 'QC' monogram cane. He comes in a smart presentation box with a signed certificate and will be sent safely by first class recorded delivery in the UK. For orders outwith the UK, normal airmail service is used.
