This would make an ideal gift for someone who has an ipad or is going to receive one. It is designed to keep the ipad clean but will not protect it from hard knocks or being dropped on the floor etc. It will roll up easily and is very light(~125g)

Alternatively since it has a closing flap it would make an ideal stash fabric envelope for your favourite recipes ripped from a magazine, or photos, or love letters or anything you would like to keep in a safe place. Only you need to know the contents!!

This item is made from a vibrant orange, fuschia and sea green Liberty Paisley print fabric. It has a fleece lining to give it a soft, cushioned feel. It is fully lined with an Amy Butler print in blue to give a nice pop of colour that is not too hard on the eyes when you open it up. There is a loop fastening on the flap, which wraps around a large blue button on the front.

It has been difficult to capture the real vibrancy of the fabric on camera. Picture 5 shows the fabric well, but this is in another product that is as yet unlisted.

The outside of the cover measures 10 3/4" wide by 8 1/4 " deep. The inside of the cover measures 10 1/2 " wide by 8 3/8" deep. The cover will comfortably fit an i-pad 2 as I have checked it in the store and with my cardboard template (which as it turns out is thicker than the actual ipad which is very slender)

The actual dimensions of the ipad 2 are 9.5" wide by 7.31" deep according to the website technical details section.

This design was sold for both reasons at my last craft fair!

The fourth picture shows a cover in Amy Butler fabric for the outer, which has a yellow flower interior. This one fastens with a magnetic snap. It measures 10 1/4 " wide by 8 1/4 " deep and will comfortably fit the ipad 2.

The first one was lovingly made by me in the dining room with my Janome sewing machine whilst listening to "An Idiot Abroad". (Couldn't watch- focused on sewing!) I can't remember the circumstance for the second one!!
