This is a cockerel that I have painted using artist's acylic paint. It was inspired by a photograph of my grandfather's chickens whom I loved feeding when I was a youngster growing up in the countryside.
It has been painted on a box canvas that measures
12 inches x 9inches x 1.4 inches and it has a coat of varnish for protection.
