This is cup and saucer made from papier mache, (including parts of The New York Times) and decorated with water colour floral patterns and faces. The inside of the cup is painted with little abstract floral motifs.

Inspired by the fact that I love my cups of tea, I wanted to make something that is a reminder of the lovely comfort of tea and harks back to those times of bone china and lace.

This is one off piece and has been protected with varnish. It is signed on the bottom of the saucer, and it comes in its own special gift box.
