Vintage Inspired Clutch bag
Description
This is a 1930's inspired clutch bag, made from soft blue cord. It has some fabulous swirly blue buttons on the front panel, with a lovely turquoise hexagonal button taking centre stage. The flap closes with a magnetic snap. The bottom panel is softly gathered and there is a small flat bottom to the bag. The bag is fully lined in a fun yellow cotton and has a pocket large enough to hold lipsticks and a mirror etc. It has a fleece interlining to make it lovely and soft.
The bag will hold a decent sized purse, mobile phone and other items. I use my version in pink everyday- no shoulder ache.
The last picture shows my pink version in use to give you an idea of what it will hold. Contents are not included in the sale of this item.
The third picture shows the bag in use to give an idea of size and is teamed with a blue and green vibrant outfit for daytime. This could equally well be used for evening also.
At its widest point it measures 12 1/4 "(31cm) tapering to 10" (25cm). The flap and front panel are top-stitched for a professional finish.
This bag was lovingly crafted by me, at home, with no help from the audience!!!
This bag is made from a design by Emma Brennan, taken from her Ellington pattern.
