This is a fantastic classic design, which reminds me of ancient Rome.

I absolutely adore Rutilated Quartz and this necklace features the gemstone in a multitude of its natural colours. All the gemstones I have used in this design have tiny, fine hair-like rutile inclusions.

The colours found in this necklace range from almost colourless, clear crystal quartz, through to yellow, brown, grey, pink orange and almost black. They look stunning all together in this random colour selection and would look wonderful for the autumn season.

The necklace has been created using Rutilated Quartz beads that measure 12mm in diameter approx. These have been faceted for extra sparkle, which makes a wonderful contrast to the ornate vermeil beads I have teamed with them.

The necklace is secured by a strong sterling silver vermeil magnetic clasp. The clasp is stamped 925 for sterling silver.

The necklace has been hand knotted for durability and movement.

The necklace measures 46cm in length approx or 18 inches approx. so sits comfortably on the neckline.

The magnetic clasp can be worn to one side as a feature if you like - see photos- and is so easy to use and quick to fasten. Perfect for those of you in a rush or who just find regular clasps too fiddly!
