Description
When I first took our new dog Dixie out she showed me all the life going on down at her nose level.
We noticed textures, patterns, bugs, snails, and how a Vimto bottle blowing in the wind could be quite beautiful. Dixie got a lot of attention to- from strange squashed faced dogs, kids who squeezed her too hard and old ladies who loved her too much.
I put all this into ‘Dixie Steps Out’. It’s a little book about a little walk through the huge, amazing happy-sad streets near my house.
‘Dixie Steps Out’ measures 10.5 x 15 cm. It has 28 pages of my drawings. It's printed phot-litho on top quality un-coated paper so has the feel of a special little sketchbook.
Perfect for kids, dog lovers, drawing lovers and those who see something epic and magical in the most familiar surroundings.
