Kingfisher is a hand crocheted handbag with a crochet strap, short flap over top and single lucite button closure.

This is a handmade handbag, with a mottled deep brown olive green woollen blend yarn, with flashes of kingfisher blue. The shades are deep and rich, with bright blue, capturing the kingfisher theme for which this handbag is named.

The main body of the handbag has been crocheted in one piece, with a small hook. starting at the base, then continuing round, alterating btween double and tripple crochet styles, to give a ruched effext.

The shoulder strap has been crocheted in the same yarn and sewn securely sewn into place against the side panels.

The handbag has not been lined, as it is quite a tight crochet.

This is a unique handmade item, fully hand crocheted and hand stitched by myself, to my own unique design.

This handbag can be hand or machine washed, at a cool temperature, but I would suggest drying flat to retain its shape.

The handbag is roughly square in shape, measuring approx 25cms in height, excluding the handle and approx 26cms in width at its widest point. The width of the shoulder strap is approx 4cms.

This striking handbag to go with every outfit is just what every lady should have at her disposal. I felt this handbag would be perfect for all seasons, or just for someone with a love of anything quirky and unique.
