This purse (measuring approx. 11 x 15cm) is made in an envelope-style, which closes with a magnetic clasp fastening just inside the centre of the front flap. I have stipple-quilted the main body of the purse, which is made from silk dupion (a handwoven silk, with a slubbed texture). The front flap is decorated with a translucent pink lucite flower which has an Erinite Swarovski crystal at its centre, and sits on a green embroidered surround. I have lined the purse throughout in gold satin fabric.

This purse has been designed with weddings in mind, to be used by the bride or bridesmaids, but you could just as easily use it for any occasion.
