I have made these fragrant Herb Pillows using recycled cotton patchwork pieces cut from reject waste material and bought from the Oxfam Ethical Crafts Collection.

I have taken complimenting squares and machine sewn them together to make the pillows. I have then stuffed them with enough wadding, which I have also recycled from old hypo allergenic pillows (which have been thoroughly washed!). I have then added approximately 1oz of dried herbs which grow in my own garden and cut and dried myself. These pillows contain a mix of dried Mint and Rosemary which make them deliciously fragrant.

I have finished the pillows by hand stitching closed and adding the embellishments, using recycled buttons, hand sewn rosettes and pretty flower braid.

These can be made in many different colours and designs if you would like one which is not shown.

They make a lovely gift for any occasion.

They are protected in cellophane to lock in the fragrance until use and a quick wriggle of them in your hands releases that gorgeous Mint and Rosemary flavour.
