Would you like to re-home a tired, broken old clock that's been given a new life? This is a vintage grandmother clock case given a little 'Bread and Butter' magic!
The clock is a beautiful piece on it's own, and I've decorated it on the theme of the nursery rhyme, Hickory Dickory Dock.
The little mouse is sitting on top of the clock, waiting for the clock to strike one, the face is a ceramic disc finished in a crackle glaze and an emphasised number one.
Little ceramic discs spell the words 'This Way Up', just in case the mouse gets confused! Ceramic banners are on the bottom of the clock embossed with the words 'Hickory Dickory Dock' and finished with coloured underglaze.
The clock has a pretty fabric trim, just to finish it off!!
This clock does have a particularly nice tick, due to the acoustics of the case.
An absolutely unique and special piece.
