This dainty little purse (measuring approx. 11 x 15cm) is made in an envelope-style, which closes with a magnetic clasp fastening just inside the centre of the front flap. The purse has a cream silk main body which I have stipple quilted, and a cream silk curvy front flap which I have embroidered with my own flowers and leaves design in red and mint thread.

I have designed it with weddings in mind, to be used by the bride or bridesmaids, but you could just as easily use it for any occasion.

The cream dupion fabric I have used for the main body has a slubbed, slightly textured surface, which is characteristic of this type of silk. I have lined the purse throughout in gold satin fabric.
