I have created this superb necklace using one of my (many) favourite Gemstones - Prehinite or Tourmalinated Green Garnets. Tooth shaped beads have been used to make this statement necklace.

The colour of this beautiful natural garnet variety is a melon green. It has stunning translucency and almost looks good enough to eat! The black and some green needle like crystal growths, seen within the gems, are crystals of Tourmaline. The gems are smooth to the touch and a joy to wear next to the skin.

The stones have been strung and hand knotted for strength and fluidity of movement when worn.

The necklace is finished with a strong sterling silver vermeil magnetic clasp, stamped 925 for sterling silver.

The necklace measures 43cm or 17 inches in length approx. So perfect for those of you who prefer a shorter length.

It would look great with a casual outfit or would make a statement with a suit for work.
