'Rosie red' is an envelope-style purse which closes with a magnetic clasp fastening. Measuring approx. 11 x 15cm, it has a cream silk main body and front flap, both of which I have stipple-quilted, and I have finished the front flap with three little red ribbon-roses on the front.

The dupion fabric has a slubbed, slightly textured surface, which is characteristic of this type of silk. I have lined the purse throughout in gold satin fabric.
