This is a lovely "scissors" fabric designed by Cosmos Crickett for Andover Fabrics. This one has white scissors on a green background. The scissors are one inch in size (or 2.4cm)

This fabric is sold by the fat quarter. A "fat quarter" is a patchwork or quilting term for a piece of fabric that is 18x22 inches in size. It's basically one yard (from the bolt) which has been quarter. It is a way to smaller quantities of fabric for sewer's who want a variety of patterns or for smaller craft projects.

You can still by this fabric in larger quantities. Here's how it works.....

One fat quarter= 18x22 inches (46x56cm)
2 Fat Quarters= 18x44 inches (46x112cm) or half a yard
4 Fat Quarters= 36x44 inches (92x112cm) one yard
