Wide Aran, Hand knitted, crocheted & fully lined handbag, with a long &wide crocheted shoulder strap, an envelope style flap over top & two vintage military domed brass button closure.

This is a handmade handbag has been both knitted & crocheted with beautiful Heather toned Aran yarn & accented with shiny large domed vintage military brass buttons, for that unique twist.

The Aran Yarn has been dyed in bands of heather tones of lighter & darker shades of lilac, a bright vibrant pink and almost blush pink, then a touch of bluebell blue, so when knitted naturally falls in stripes, or band of colours.

The main body of the handbag has been knitted & then the edges of the handbag & the ridged semi-oval side panels, have been crocheted to tie the handbag together & to give the handbag some depth when required. The side panels are crocheted from differing sections, so one is mottled and one plain yarn.

The handbag is secured with a two vintage brass buttons, which have crocheted loops along the front edge of the handbag through which they secure.

As the whole handbag has a wider than usual theme, the shoulder strap for the handbag has also been crocheted in a wide style to continue the theme, but also giving strength, durability & a comfort fit on the shoulder.

The whole of the inside of the handbag has been further fully lined & hand stitched in 100% white cotton material.
