Beadwork necklace with lampwork pendant

This is a beadstitched rope necklace worked in peyote spiral stitch with a focal pendant of a beautiful handmade lampwork bead from the talented glass artist Colette Ladley.
The rope is 30" (765mm) long and the pendant is 65mm long.
This is such a sleek and sophisticated necklace that you can wear with creams, browns, beiges and blues.
Inspiration
I tried several stitches in various colours to make the necklace for the lovely lampwork focal bead before deciding on spiral peyote stitch. The uniformity of the stitch contrasts with the randomness of the pattern in the bead.
