These shawl pins are about 4 1/2" long and the 'log slice' components are about 3" to 3 1/2" x 2 1/2".

I have pictured five in this batch since the wood displays slightly different characteristics even though they're all from the same yew branch; one cut lengthways & four sliced across the log.

I do favour a finish that allows the ‘treeness’ of the material to show through rather than a glossy varnish and most of what I have on sale feature an oil and/or hard wax finish. I have numbered the photographs, so if you have a preference, please tell me its number.
