The Around the World in 80 Stamps vintage suitcase is perfect for anyone that loves a classic design with a twist! This beautiful brown and cream faux leather vintage suitcase is decorated with real vintage postage stamps from around the world : Congo, Pakistan, Austria, Nigeria, Tanzania and Sweden just to name a few! I also incorporated old postcards dating back to the early 1900s and 1950s on either side. Each stamp has been placed in order to compliment the colour and design of the next one, creating a harmonious and exclusive piece. The stamps have been treated with several coats of special protective varnish/lacquer, a complicated procedure but very effective: you can travel around the world even on rainy days without having to worry about the stamps peeling off! However,do handle with care to keep this bag going a few more decennia!

The interior is covered with square paper and is in good condition with minor discolouring. It has a Stockdale- Leather Goods label inside and a Python-Made in England stamp on the outside. I decided to preserve the patina and wear on the cream parts and metal hinges as it enhances the weathered and antique look I aim for in my Around the World collection.
This suitcase comes with a key.
