Crag Photograph - Penguins - Poster
Description
This image features two tiny penguins on a burnt wooden block and is entitled 'Crag'. It is available as a mini-poster perfect for hanging almost anywhere! The image is a photograph taken by myself from my ceramic 'Last of the Melting Snow' series. The series follows a family of penguins as they embark on a journey of discovery and wonder.
The mini-poster is an actual photograph and measures 255 x180 mm. The price does not include frame or mount. The mini-poster will be sent out First Class in a hard backed envelope.
10% of the mini-poster price (60p) will go to 'Animals in Distress' (Irlam). For more information please visit my blog and website.
Payment
Payment is processed securely through Paypal, either via credit card or with an existing acount. You do not need to be a Paypal member to use this facility. Please contact me if you wish to use another method. Goods must be paid for in full before they can be sent out.
Shipping
Your order will be shipped within three days of the payment clearing. All orders are shipped from the UK. Your shipping address must match your Folksy address. Please contact me if you need your order shipping elsewhere, for example if it is a gift for someone else.
UK orders will be shipped First Class using Royal Mail. Please allow up to three working days for delivery.
International orders will be sent Airmail First Class. Please note that you may be responsible for import duties and customs. This is beyond my control and is determined by the country of import.
USA, Canada and Everywhere Else - Royal Mail estimates one to two weeks for delivery. This is only an estimate and it can take up to six weeks depending on customs clearance times and weather conditions.
Europe - Royal Mail estimates one week for delivery. This is only an estimate and can take longer depending on your local service.
Insurance and tracking is not included. If you require this you must contact me before purchase to arrange it at additional cost.
Refunds and Exchanges
I hope you will be pleased with your purchases but if for any reason you are not, please contact me right away to resolve the problem before leaving feedback. If your order arrives damaged, please contact me as soon as possible. All return queries and damages must be notified within seven days of receiving the item. In the event of a return / exchange I regret that I will be unable to refund the cost of postage.

Inspiration
'Last of the melting snow' is a series of one-off work that follows a family of penguins as they embark on a journey of discovery and wonder. These quirky striking pieces were influenced by my time spent in Finland watching the winter melt into spring. My use of porcelain combined with my distinctive original glaze is evocative of melting snow and a watery landscape. The tiny penguin figures capture a sense of loss and of not belonging. They view the world they find themselves in with a quizzical eye. This photograph shows a baby penguin and an adult penguin investigating a burnt woody crag.
