This is a lovely woollen yarn which consists of 2 strands of ordinary merino wool plied with a strand of superwash treated merino. The superwash strand takes the dyes more intensely and the result is a yarn that gives a tweedy effect when knitted up. It is a soft bouncy yarn with a fairly loose twist .

This skein is variegated and has been dyed in the colours of cherry blossom flowers and leaves.
