A queen among doorstops, Glamour Puss is inspired by vintage milk bottles. Made from end-of-roll hessian mix in mushroom, with a thin blue stipe; vintage design fabric base, with gingham trim; eye patch and ears from recycled felt (made from old plastic bottles); vintage Bakelite button eyes; hand embroidered face detail; appliqued patch 'raw milk' label, with Bakelite button detail; chain stitched with 'Glamour Puss'; rustic string loop handle; stuffed with fibre I was lucky enough to buy from my local St Barnabas charity shop; weighted with dried rice. Stands about 26cm high.
