This mug measures 85mm across by 78mm tall.
To make it I started off with a ball of red earthenware clay which I threw on a potters wheel and then I added on a hand modelled handle. Liquid white clay, called slip, was poured inside to give it bright fresh interior and then it was fired. It was decorated with leadfree, foodsafe glaze and then the hand drawn decal was fired into the smooth glazed surface. You can wash this in a dishwasher.
