This little pig is needlefelted from hand dyed Merino wool, and embellished with fine spun hand dyed Blue Faced Leicester wool. He is placed on a fine hand quilted cotton background,and is trailing a bunting banner made from delicate cotton fabrics.

The background is quilted with cotton threads and embroidery silks, decorated with tiny heart shaped buttons, and the words 'Pigs might Fly' is stitched.

The deep unglazed frame has a distressed 'Shabby chic' painted finish in soft grey/white which has been buffed to a soft sheen with beeswax.
