The title is taken from the prophetic poem 'The Book of Thel' by William Blake;

"Does the Eagle know what is in the pit,
or wilt thou go ask the Mole?
Can Wisdom be put in a silver rod,
or Love in a golden bowl?"

A beautiful still life in the style of the old masters. I simply adore the texture and reflections in the golden bowl and the deep, delicious red of the berries!
