No-sew Felted Bag / Purse Pattern PDF

This gorgeous knit-and-felt bag / purse pattern is worked in the round and entirely in one piece – no seams and no sewing! Uses super-bulky 100% wool yarn for a super-quick make.

The sturdy handle is just the right length to either throw over your shoulder or swing by hand.
Neat inverted pleat and button detail on front.

The bag in the photo was crafted on 10mm / US15 needles with approximately 350g (350 metres/380 yards) Jaeger Natural Fleece 100% wool (in the Olivine colourway), but any super-bulky yarn will do.

Approx. finished measurements (based on yarn used and bearing in mind that felting is not an exact science):

Height: 10.5” / 27cm

Width (when laid flat): 13” / 33 cm max, tapering to 9.5” / 24cm at opening.

Handle width: 1.5” / 4cm

Handle length: 26" / 66cm
