The Blue bird swags have proved very popular. This takes the idea one step further, giving them a background and a frame.

The little birds and hearts are needlefelted from hand dyed Merino wool, and embellished with fine spun hand dyed Blue Faced Leicester wool. They are placed on a fine hand quilted cotton background, the swag is held in the birds' beaks with delicate silk ribbons.
The background is decorated with needlefelted flowers stitched with embroidery silks and silk ribbon, and the words:
'Spread a little Happiness'.

The deep unglazed frame has a distressed 'Shabby chic' painted finish in soft grey/white which has been buffed to a soft sheen with beeswax.

Frame size 24.5cm/9.5" sq Picture size 20cm/8" sq

This would be an ideal addition to a nursery or playroom, or to add a little inspiration to any room in the house.
