This unique Poppy art work is made from over 700 tiny Japanese Toho glass seed beads stitched directly onto hand pricked card.

The Poppy pattern is my own design created on a cross stitch design program. The basic cross stitch pattern is then transformed into a prick and stitch pattern using specially commissioned software.

The Poppy is stitched onto an 8.5 x 12.8 cm piece of smooth, bright white, Clairefontaine Maya 270g card using a white polyester thread. The bead work is backed with the same card to seal the stitching and finished off with a Crafty Ferret sticker.

The mount and backing board are hand cut by me from Ice White Daler-Rowney mountboard. The bead work can easily be removed from the mount.

The mount fits perfectly into a standard 10 x 8 inch picture frame. The picture frame shown is not included in the sale but can be purchased from Wilkinsons.

The art work will be delivered in a protective plastic sleeve sandwiched between two sheets of sturdy packaging card in a padded envelope. A signature will be required on delivery.
