'Silk branches' is an envelope-style purse which closes with a magnetic clasp fastening. Measuring approx. 11 x 15cm, it has a cerise stipple-quilted silk main body, and a cream/black embroidered silk front flap. The cerise dupion has a slubbed, slightly textured surface, which is characteristic of this type of silk. The purse is lined throughout in gold satin fabric.
