This beautifully soft silk viscose scarf has been designed and made in my North Somerset studio.

Created from 18% silk 82% viscose velvet, the fabric has first been dyed purple then hand screen printed to my own design to remove the colour in a 'reed' pattern inspired by the grass and reed banks of the River Yeo near my home. Then each of the reeds has been hand painted with jade green to give a stunning multi-coloured scarf. Although the concept for these is not unique, each is subtely different in that the screen is placed in a different pattern each scarf and different dye colours are used each time as I blend many of my own.

This beautiful fabric shimmers and catches the light from all angles.

Double sided velvet, this scarf measures 60" x 6.5" (152cms x 17cms) approximately.
