Commander Chakotay, formerly of the Maquis, has joined the mob of Meerkat Star Trek characters! He shows his pride in his Native American heritage by the tattoo over his right eye.

Voyager Meerkat trekkies show their rank by collar pips, and wear communicator badges on their chests. Their uniform is subtly different - Voyager crew wear grey turtle necks under their black sweaters, with shoulder sections in the colour of their particular discipline.Commander Chakotay, of course, wears command colours, deep burgundy red.

As with my non-trekkie meerkats, Chakotay's back legs and tail have been wired to allow him to stand freely in the typical "tripod" stance. He is approximately 7" tall (18cm).
