Handknitted cream flower in a soft mohair yarn, using yellow mohair for the centre accent and to divide the petals.

I've accented the flower with 2 yellow skeletal leaves which surprised me with their resilience, they are not as fragile as I'd thought, and were very agreeable to being stitched through repeatedly!

To finish I've crocheted a backing circle in the same yarn, and added not one but two silver plated brooch backs. This is to ensure you can hang the brooch at any angle without it "dangling".

The two brooch backs also mean you can thread a thong or chain through them and wear your corsage as a necklace - I'm a great believer in multi-tasking!
