This unusual keychain is made from an old broken skateboard deck. Skateboards are made from a 7 ply Canadian maple with a coloured outer layer.
Made from a 100% reclaimed 'Landscape' skateboard, it has been cut, sanded and made into a keytag. It has a green side and a dinosaur graphic on the other.

It has been hand sanded and sealed with clear polyurethane varnish which seals and preserves the natural colour of the wood.

The disk is approximately 3 cms in diameter and 1cm in width and is supplied on a silver plated key ring and bail.

I belong to a family of skaters and I have an abundance of old broken and un-used skateboards laying around my house. My husband has mounted some in our house and is also making garden gates, chairs and tables out of the whole ones. I have bagsied the broken pieces to create this wonderful line of jewellery. No two boards are ever the same, each one is unique so you know that you have something nobody else has.
