This unusual bangle is made from an old broken skateboard deck. Skateboards are made from a 7 ply Canadian maple with a coloured outer layer. The bangle is reversible with orange 'landscape' logo on one side side and 'Landscape' graphic pattern on the other, it has a groove of orange running around the edge.

It has been hand sanded and sealed with natural beeswax, which brings out the colour but offers a more natural finish than varnish.

The bangle is approximately 9 cms in diameter with a 6.5 cms opening. The width is 1 cm.

I belong to a family of skaters and I have an abundance of old broken and un-used skateboards laying around my house. My husband has mounted some in our house and is also making garden gates, chairs and tables out of the whole ones. I have bagsied the broken pieces to create this wonderful line of jewellery. No two boards are ever the same, each one is unique so you know that you have something nobody else has.
