This is a hand decorated trinket box made from slip cast earthenware. It is approximately 11cm in diameter and 5cm high, and perfect for storing earrings and necklaces. Alternatively it could be used as a great pot for keys, loose change or even as a salt cellar! The turquoise coloured slip is applied before the glaze and the digital transfers are long lasting.

The decoration is based on boats moored in Penzance and Newlyn harbours, near to my Grandmother’s cottage. Cornwall is a constant source of inspiration for my work. I used coloured pencils and pen and ink to create the designs. These drawings were scanned and computer manipulated (scaled down) before being made up into transfers. Silver lustre adds a decadent touch.

The item is technically dishwasher proof but I cannot accept responsibility for cracks in the glaze or fading of colour that a hot wash may cause. Placement of images may vary slightly from this photo as each item is hand decorated. All trinket boxes show the same range of boats, seagulls and lighthouses.

All items are boxed and wrapped in high quality tissue paper and protective layers of bubble wrap to provide safe delivery.
