This unusual necklace is made from an old broken skateboard deck. Skateboards are made from a 7 ply Canadian maple with a coloured outer layer. The Pendant is double sided with graffiti 'love' pattern on one side and original 'Girl' logo on the other. It is reversible.

It has been hand sanded and sealed with natural beeswax, which brings out the colour but offers a more natural finish than varnish.

The pendant is approximately 2.5 cms in diameter (1"). The width is 1 cm. It is supplied on a Chain 41.5cm silver plated trace chain with a bolt ring clasp.

I belong to a family of skaters and I have an abundance of old broken and un-used skateboards laying around my house. My husband has mounted some in our house and is also making garden gates, chairs and tables out of the whole ones. I have bagsied the broken pieces to create this wonderful line of jewellery. No two boards are ever the same, each one is unique so you know that you have something nobody else has. ♥ The perfect gift for a fellow skater or for someone with an eclectic sense of style.
