* Shown here on a standard 2 cup (0.6l) tea pot- the ribbing gives it elasticity meaning it will fit a range of shapes and sizes.

* All Tea Cosy Shop Cosies are made from New Lanark wool - 100% wool, spun on a water powered 19th century mill in the UNESCO World Heritage Site, New Lanark, Scotland.

* The mill is soil association approved and uses traditional methods throughout the production of this beautiful natural yarn. Due to this the yarn shows differences from batch to batch and small variations in the yarn makes every cosy special.

* The cosy design maximumises thermal efficiency and also allows for differences in the teapot manufacturers detailing, so should still fit your favourite teapot like a glove.

* We recommend you hand wash your cosy and dry it flat.

HOW TO MAKE THE PERFECT CUPPA

• Use only the finest tea, preferably fairtrade and organic.

• Bring freshly drawn water water to the boil.

• Warm the teapot and cups with hot water before use.

• Using 1 tea bag or 1 rounded teaspoon of tea per person, place in the pot and pour on the freshly boiled water.

• Allow the tea to brew for 4 or 5 minutes before pouring into cups or mugs.

• Add milk and sugar to taste, or lemon for a more refreshing brew.

• Use a tea cosy to keep the pot warm between cups

Best served with a slice of cake or a couple of homemade biscuits...... yummy....
