Cheerful daisies are at home on the felted meadow background of this embroidered brooch.

Naturally died silk and mohair fibres are combined with merino wool, in the felt which forms the background to this brooch. The daisies are embroidered in cottons

The brooch is stiffened with plastic cut from a recycled bottle. Green and yellow, loosely spun yarn is couched round the edge of the brooch to frame the design.

The back of the brooch is neatened with felt and a brooch pin is securely stitched in place.
