I made a few of these as christmas presents and liked them so much I wanted to share this Eco friendly, creative and a fantastic relaxing pastime with the world. Really easy to do with little ones around.

Rag Rug kit is made of:
- The hessian gift bag can be reused or even rag rugged.
- The prodder was handmade by a woodturner in the uk using native wood, these are beautiful to hold.
- The hessian square is approx 9-10inches squareish depending on the direction of the scissors. Zig Zagged.
- Approx 20 sample clippings. These are for you to have a go. For display purposes i have stitched them together and you just need to snip the cotton and bead from them and they are ready for use. You will need to add some material of your own to the kit and cut into extra clippings.
- A muslin bag filled with french lavender. This is grown in the uk, without the use of chemicals or pesticides. I have enclosed the lavender so you can make your sample hessian square into a simple lavender pillow if you wish. You may wish to add extra stuffing.
- Handwritten instructions with hand drawn diagrams, I also added a little colour. These are simple instructions, hopefully easy enough for a beginner or a child. Just enough to wet your appetite and hopefully make you want to recycle your old materials and prod away
- A hand written, hand drawn, hand coloured gift tag. this kit can be for you or to give as a wonderful gift. Contents on the back.
