Ideally the doodle needs to be clear. It doesn't matter what size as I will reduce it to fit. If it's a detailed picture I will usually pick out certain key elements, such as people and transfer those images. What looks fabulous is if a little one has written their first word, such as Mum or Dad. These look great in silver.
